Vancouver-based Peqish Food Company, a forerunner in healthy meals and snacks created by doctors and chefs, is pleased to announce the addition of food industry and CPG experts to the advisory board.  

VANCOUVER, August 6, 2020 / Peqish Food Company, the food brand created by doctors-and-chefs, is thrilled by the additions of Michael Aucoin and Doug McGillivray to the business advisory board. 

Michael is past President, Operations Canada at Agropur, where he previously held the position of VP of Sales. Agropur is a North American dairy industry leader and distributor of numerous recognizable brands, such as Oka Cheese. He is also a past board member of Consumer Health Products Canada and held senior sales positions at Campbell’s, Smuckers and Hershey. His experience leading operations and sales makes him ideal to understand and support the growth of Peqish’s unique food by the doctors and chefs brand. Specifically his acumen driving national sales will be invaluable supporting the growth of Peqish across Canada.  

Doug brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience working with several tier one CPG organizations, including brands such as Head & Shoulders, Pampers, Lays and Cheerios. The last 16 years of Doug’s career has been spent at Pillsbury/General Mills where Doug was VP of Marketing, Corporate Officer for 10 years and VP of Sales, Corporate Officer for the last 6 years. He has also played a significant hand in guiding the Good Fats Company from start-up to a nationally recognized brand. Doug’s knowledge will aid Peqish in unlocking new retail opportunities and advancing the brand and marketing strategy.
